The main source for information contained herein is a wonderful publication, "Transported to Paradise" by the late Professor Douglas R. Huxley. It is therefore appropriate that this site is dedicated to his memory.

If you have information that would fill in gaps or contradict existing data, we are happy to look at it, but before any changes are made, proof in the form of certificates or transcripts would be necessary.
